Methylated Resveratrol Plus from Douglas Laboratories combines of antioxidants and vitamin D to help support cardiovascular health and longevity. This formula contains pterostilbene, a methylated resveratrol naturally occurs in berries. It also contains resveratrol, curcumin, and vitamin D3, ingredients that when combined with ptersostilbene may support healthy aging.Cardiovascular and Energy Support. A methylated form of resveratrol, pterostilbene provides superior biological activity, better oral bioavailability, and slower metabolism in the body. The pterostilbene in this formula, pTeroPureTM, is a nature identical form of trans-pterostilbene, a stilbene found in some berries. When combined, pterostilbene and resveratrol work synergistically to support mitochondrial function and healthy aging. They achieve this by an enzyme implicated in influencing aging and regulating transcription, apoptosis and stress resistance, as well as energy efficiency and alertness during low-calorie situations.
