GLA

Omega-6 essential fatty acid is necessary for our bodies to function optimally. Since essential fatty acids are not naturally produced by your body, you may choose to take a supplement to help fill any nutritional gaps in your diet. One of the important essential fatty acids your body requires is omega-6, which can be found in gamma-linoleic acid (GLA, a fatty acid), derived from flowers, herbs and berries such as primrose, borage and black currant. The body then converts this fatty acid of GLA into substances that reduce inflammation and cell growth. Because of that, GLA is used for conditions such as arthritis, nerve damage from diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.

Borage oil comes from the seed of the plant Borago officinalis, also known as starflower, an annual herb native to the Mediterranean region. It is used to support healthy-looking skin, promote healthy joint function, support temporary relief from menstrual discomfort and many other potential benefits.

Evening primrose oil is derived from the yellow wildflower, Oenothera biennis, which contains phenylalanine and is believed to support a healthy-looking complexion and temporarily relieve symptoms of PMS.
